Cory and the Escuela Sin Frontera's crew are second to none. The mission of the school highlights the principles of experiential education as each students' learning styles are different and require special design and care. Cory's altruistic and holistic approach to education and curriculum design sets ESF apart from other educational institutions.

We have been attending Escuela Sin Fronteras Spanish classes for a while now, and I'm improving every week. There is always something going on at different locations for Spanish Sundays around beautiful Cambutal.

Coming to Cambutal was the best thing we did in Panama. The place is amazing, but without Cory and his help, we would have not experienced it the same way. He makes you feel at home and shows you the real Panama and people and why it's such an amazing place. Be careful! You might not want to go home after.

 I arrived in Cambutal with no connections or Spanish skills. Thanks to Cory's instruction and dedication to engaging the local community I can say that I feel at home here and can converse freely with the Spanish speaking world that has taught me so much in my short 6 months in paradise.

I am Elizabeth, and I participate in the English classes of Escuela Sin Fronteras. It has been a fantastic and unforgettable experience, and I have learned a lot in these months that I have gone to classes learning( speaking in the past, present; writing and pronunciation) what I liked the most was that I was able to communicate with foreigners( native English speakers) in the class.

It was a fine day in Cambutal, Panama, and we had just got back from fishing. On our way home, we came across a man named Cory. He offered to teach me Spanish lessons. The first lesson was easy but hard, but the more we learned, the easier it was to understand. Soon I was talking with some of the locals. Cory made it easy to learn Spanish. He would give us a lesson then took us to the restaurants, and we ate and spoke with the locals. All in 3 weeks time, it took dedication, hard work and lots of practice. I became familiar with the Spanish language, thanks to a great teacher who became my friend.

I had been on the road for 3 months before arriving in Cambutal. The trip across the peninsula was like riding to the other side of the rainbow. Yet with so much natural beauty to explore it was when I arrived at Escuela Sin Fronteras that I found the highlight of my day. I was greeted by a class filled with excited local students engaged in fun classroom activities.  I felt Cory was a really enthusiastic teacher(English, Spanish and Writing) and brought a genuine passion to the class every week. I looked forward to every session and found inspiration in a lot of the readings and additional materials he recommended.

Without the team at ESF I wouldn't have seen Panama from this perspective. What makes this place so magical?It is the breathtaking landscape, good vibes or this lovely community? I reckon it's the perfect combination of everything. 

My friend and I went to visit his grandparents in Panama. While we were on the trip, we met a man named Cory, who offered to teach us Spanish. We accepted and then started the lessons a few days later. At first we started with basic phrases, and it wasn't that difficult, but it got harder. He was probably the best teacher around because it got easier the more we studied. After about 3 weeks, we were able to have small conversations with the locals.
